As I said a few days ago, I had no idea speaking was such a lucrative profession until I went to speak to a Fortune 100 company in college.
Because I was a scholarship student athlete I couldn’t be paid for my talk but I did ask the company executive an important question, “If you could’ve paid me today, how much would you have paid me to share “Championship Team Secrets?”
He smiled as he took a bite of his Granny Smith apple, “About $10,000.”
My eyes bulged.
After all I was 20 years old and had never gotten a check for $10,000.
“Yeah,” he continued. “We’ve paid folks tons of money to talk — and they’re not nearly as good
as you were.”
I left that luncheon with a new found appreciation for speaking, and what was possible for my life.
I later learned that speakers don’t get paid for their TIME (like most people think), they get paid for
And when you think about it that way – $10,000 to help a team get to their next level – makes
perfect sense, right?
What about you?
Do you want to share your story or expertise with the world? and maybe add an extra $1,000 – $10,000 dollars to your monthly income — spending maybe 2-4 hours a month working on your speaking business?
Then you have to learn how to Get Paid To Speak
I’m teaching a brand new class on what it takes to launch and build a 5, 6 or even 7-figure speaking business.
And since you opened this email, I’m assuming you’re ALL IN!
See ya in class,
